What is Hydroponics

Hydroponics is a type of horticulture plants without using soil. The plants are housed in units without soil and are grown in water which is enhanced with the nutrients they require for health growth. The plant roots may be in inert substances to support them. These can be such things as gravel, perlite and other purpose made substances, or the roots can be free of support totally.

The plant recieve their nutrient through the water they are housed in. This water is typically circulated around the housings to ensure all the plants revieve the nutrient. The nutrients in the can be added to the water via various means.
